This rum comes from Australia's oldest licensed rum distillery, located on the Queensland coast. A first column distillation is followed by distillation in a copper pot still. After 10 years of maturation in American oak in Australia, The Elixir Trails Rum is matured for a further seven years in second-fill bourbon casks in the United Kingdom.
