Planteray Vintage Terravera Trinidad 2003

Planteray Vintage Terravera Trinidad 2013 is a molasses-based rum, the result of the renowned double aging method. After 19 years of tropical aging in Port of Spain, Trinidad, this rum was further aged for three years in French Javrezac Ferrand casks.
It is a very pleasant rum with fruity, spicy, and funky notes on the nose, starting with a spiciness that transitions into aromas of peach, guava, figs, pepper, beeswax, vanilla, and brine.
On the palate, the spiciness and oak briefly dominate, along with coconut, date, and graviola. The finish is spicy with cooked pear, lime, cocoa, and tobacco.
