Planteray Vintage Terravera Mauritius 2013

Planteray Vintage Terravera Mauritius 2013 is a molasses-based rum, the result of the renowned double aging method. After nine years of tropical aging in Flic-en-Flac, Mauritius, this rum was further aged for two years in French Javrezac barrels in Ferrand.
It is a very pleasant rum with fruity notes of caramel, vanilla, lime, passion fruit, banana, and coconut on the nose. Later, notes of nutmeg and tobacco emerge.
On the palate, dried fruit, guava, and roses take over, creating a very floral experience. The finish is spicy with notes of black tea, pepper, and orange peel.
