Clairin Saint Benevolence

Clairin Saint Benevolence

Clairin is a spirit distilled after the example of French-style rums. Freshly squeezed sugar cane juice is fermented and then distilled. Where the French style Rhums use a column still, Clairin uses a pot still, which preserves even more flavor. Clairin is a very artisanal product and is rapidly gaining popularity within the Rum world.
Expect a very strong and vegetal flavor that lingers for a long time.
This Clairin Saint Benevolence is made in the Haitian village of Saint Michel and the proceeds are used to support the local population by investing in medical aid and educational programs.
