Sodade Canne Rouge Rhum Grogue du Cap-Vert
Sodade Canne Rouge Rhum Grogue du Cap-Vert is a Cape Verdean grogue made with juice from the Canne Rouge sugarcane variety. The sugarcane is grown without pesticides or artificial fertilizers and harvested by hand. Fermentation takes 12 days with wild yeast, making it a rum with a very long fermentation process. Distillation takes place in a typical Cape Verdean still at a low temperature and is fueled with bagasse, the residual fiber and bark of the sugarcane.
