This Swell De Spirits That's the Spirit! Series 03 Rhum Blanc Agricole de la Guadeloupe Papa Rouyo 2022 50cl is a beautiful white Rhum Agricole that has been aged for a long time in stainless steel. This makes it elegant, yet very expressive. It is a limited edition of only 400 bottles worldwide.
Nose: Wonderfully funky and spicy, a chamomile lawn with marjoram, thyme, banana mint, sorrel, freshly mown grass, silage, farm funk, clay, limes, pistachio ice cream, croissants, salted butter, and hairspray.
Palate: Dirty farm funk with grass, silage, brick dust, a light spicy smokiness, rye, prickly pear jam, gooseberries, cherries, honey, and smoked duck with cranberry sauce.
Finish: Olive oil with sage, thyme, and marjoram.
