Matusalem Gran Reserva Solera 23 Year Lefebre is a top-end limited edition of the well-known Dominican brand. This Rum is an ode to the grandfather of the 5th generation of the founders: Claudio Alvarez Lefebre. The edition is limited to 2000 pieces worldwide and is a Solera 23 Rum that has matured only in French oak barrels and is bottled at 43%. It is therefore a much more powerful expression than the other Rums from Matusalem, with a nice focus on wood and vanilla. The Rum is also much drier than the classic Solera 23 from their range, which gives it an even more refined taste. Each bottle of Lefebre comes in a beautiful box with a certificate of authenticity. For some a collector's item, for us a very tasty Rum that at the same time means a new step in the rich history of the Matusalem brand.
