Matusalem Insolito Wine Cask

Insolito means 'unusual' and that is more than appropriate for this Rum. This Dominican Rum uses Rum that, after its initial maturation, is decolorized thanks to a carbon filter and then put back to rest for three additional years in a solera of Tempranillo wine barrels. This is followed by a blend with the well-known Matusalem 15, which gives the Rum its characteristic Rose color.
The Rose color in combination with the shape of the bottle is reminiscent of French Rosé wines.
This soft Rum has a very refined taste that perfectly combines fruitiness, fruit and vanilla.
