Baie Des Trésors: Karakoli
Baie Des Trésors produces various Rhums Agricoles that do not differ in the production process, but in the place where the sugar cane is cultivated, the so-called 'terroir'. At the tip of the Caravelle Peninsula, overlooking the Baie du Trésor, is Pointe Caracoli, an emblematic cape of Martinique. Here you can enjoy flamboyantly colored sunrises and sunsets.
This aged Rum called Karakoli, comes from the Spoutourne plot, one of the driest on the estate. As with the vines, the scarcity of water in the weeks leading up to harvest results in a remarkable aromatic concentration of the sugar cane.
Under its golden color with amber and slightly glowing highlights, Karakoli offers a powerful, complex nose, characterized by a delicate woody note with a pastry-like nuance of caramelized vanilla and coconut powder.
In the mouth it offers suppleness and a silky texture. Full and round in the mouth, with floral and balsamic aromas (honey, herbs, roasting).
