Velier Magnum Series Clarendon 2014 MBS 10 Years

This Velier Magnum Series Clarendon 2014 10 Years comes from the Clarendon Distillery in Jamaica. This rum is from the Clarendon distillery's own "MBS" brand and has an ester content between 10 and 60 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol.
On the nose, it initially reveals aromas of apricot, coconut, and vanilla, followed by floral notes accompanied by honey and medicinal herbs. Cardamom, ginger, and a touch of licorice also emerge.
The palate is, as always, tropical with pineapple and ripe banana. Candied citrus fruits also emerge.
The finish is long and complex, with soft notes of licorice and rye whiskey that give way to tobacco and cane sugar.
