La Maison du Rhum Trésors Oubliés: Madagascar Hors d'Age

The La Maison du Rhum Madagascar Rum in this decanter is the result of a blend of aged Rums from Madagascar, distilled in a column and then matured in ex-Scottish Single Malt casks. Forgotten for years in a cellar in Nosy-Bé, it reveals a delicate smoky aromatic profile, very unique for a Rum. The nose opens with delicately spicy wood notes. The journey continues on the palate with flavors of grains enveloped in a delicate and surprising smoke. In the aftertaste, a hint of peat reflects the notes of dried fruit.
