Execution Dock in Wapping, London, is the place where many a pirate met their end. Famous figures such as Captain Kidd and Charles Vane were executed here. It became a place of legend where the public could see these infamous men and women in real life for the first time.

Execution Dock Rums aims to offer a selection of Rums that are sometimes unique, sometimes legendary, and sometimes mysterious. They are meant to entice you as a drinker and provide you with a memorable experience.

The Rums in this series are, without exception, Rums that you must try in your lifetime, because you only die once.

Mystery Series

The Mystery Series features rums shrouded in mystery. Rums that are known only by name at best, but are often complete unknowns. These are rums that offer a unique taste experience while simultaneously piquing your curiosity. From distilleries you didn't know existed to distilleries that no longer exist, you can find yourself in this series.

Lajables

Lajables is the first Rum in this series. It is a Ten Cane Rum from Trinidad & Tobago. The Ten Cane distillery was founded in 2005 by LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton). The name is based on the 10 stalks of sugarcane needed to make one bottle of Rum. These Rums were initially made with sugarcane juice, but gradually a small amount of molasses rum was added. The distillery closed its doors after 10 years, in 2015, leaving these Rums with a finite supply.

This 2012 Lajables is a blend of cane juice with a very small amount of molasses and spent its life in bourbon casks to be bottled in 2025.

The name Lajables, which means 'She-Devil', was not chosen at random. This figure from Trinidadian folklore is an elegant and seductive woman who hides her true appearance under a veil. Once you get closer, her true nature is revealed. Despite her devilish character, she remains irresistible.

Nose:

Funky with notes of strawberry, sugarcane juice, citrus, dried apricot, and green banana.

Mouth:

Powerful with flavors of sugarcane juice, mint, thyme, Liège syrup, and citrus.

Finish:

Long and powerful on the sides of the tongue with fresh and fruity undertones.

Spiritual Series

The Spiritual Series features Rums that are unique due to the application of unusual combinations. They offer very unexpected aromas and flavors, but do so with respect for the Rum. Expect very special aging and finishes, often combined with very unexpected Rums as a base.

Tuinaiviqalita

Tuinaiviqalita, part of the Spiritual Series and the second in the Execution Dock Rum range, is a Rum that introduces you to a Fijian Rum profile.

This profile is both accessible and complex, thanks to a blend of pot- and column-still Rums. In this case, it involves Rums that have been aged for nearly 24 years.

The long aging combined with the smoky Laphroaig cask creates a unique depth that challenges the Rum's smoothness.

Tuiniviqalita was a Fijian warrior who captured a god. In exchange for his release, the god granted Tuinaiviqalita the ability to walk on fire. This event marked the beginning of the tradition of firewalking on the island of Beqa in Fiji. This Rum embodies this tradition by combining Fijian Rum with the smokiness of a Laphroaig cask finish.

Nose:

Burnt sugar, dried fruit, honey, and smoke.

Mouth:

Light funk combined with red fruit, apple, soft honey, and powerful smoke.

Finish:

Long and smooth with a beautiful transition on the next sip.
